Become a Foster Mom or Dad:

  • Do you have a spare room where you can keep the new fosteree?
  • Do you love cats, dog, kittens and puppies but travel, etc. so you don’t want to “own” a pet but still need wet sloppy kisses and head rubs?
  • Foster parents are provided with a food for a month; vetting is paid for by Pawsitive Hearts Pet Therapy and Rescue, Inc. Foster parents provide the love.
  • Foster parents need to attend adoption events at least once a month.
  • Foster parents get to review adoption applications and help decide on the furever placement for their fosters.

If you’re interested in fostering please download a Foster Application.

Adoption Applications

Please email scanned copy of paper application to Kathy@pawsitiveheartspa.org.

MYTH: “I will not be able to leave the foster go to a new adopter because I will be attached to him/her.”

FACT: If you “fail” (and adopt your foster), it’s ok!  Many first time fosters are “foster fails”. But that’s great, because the cat or dog ends up with an awesome forever home! Yes, it is difficult to see a foster leave your nest but since you helped pick the furever home, you will know the pet has a pawsome future in store!  And, you can now help save another furry creature that needs you.
